SANDS BASKETBALL REGISTRATION - OPENS SATURDAY, 9/19 9:00 AM!

Basketball is open to Sands students (boys and girls) grades 2 through 6. Our teams participate in the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League, which consists of schools from all over Greater Cincinnati.

Registration will begin on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 9:00 am and end on October 4, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to availability. There will be approximately 9 players per team. Teams may fill up before the deadline, so please register ASAP. If teams fill up, the player will be placed on a wait list.

The general calendar for the season -
Practices start mid to late October
Games begin early December
The season is 10 games
2-week winter break, matching the school’s holiday break
The season ends late February
End-of-season tournament for teams in grades 3-6 after the last scheduled games, typically late Feb / early March
