Last Day of School & Transition Day
Last day of the 2025-2026 school year at Sands Montessori. Students in Kindergarten and 3rd grade visit their new classroom community for the next school year.

Meet the SMPO at The Potted Palm
The SMPO is partnering with the awesome folks at The Potted Palm for a gathering and a fundraiser on November 14.
SMPO will get a portion of sales all day, so even if you cannot make it please stop into The Potted Palm anytime that day.
Members of the SMPO will be present 5-7pm to answer questions and network with the Sands Community.
Buy a plant and a pot and plant it right there in the shop!
Well behaved and supervised kids are welcome to attend. :)

Clark Montessori information session at Sands
Clark Information Night at Sands
Tamara Brown from Clark Montessori will be hosting an information night in the Sands cafeteria on Tuesday 10/28 from 5:30-6:30. Any families who are interested in learning more about the Montessori program offered at Clark are invited, and current 5th and 6th grade students are encouraged to attend as well.

Basketball Registration Begins
Sands Basketball Registration
Basketball is open to Sands students (boys and girls) grades 2 through 6. Our teams participate in the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League (www.cpybl.com), which consists of schools from all over Greater Cincinnati.
Registration will begin on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 9:00 am and end on October 5, 2025 at 6:00 pm on the cpybl website.
Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to availability. There will be approximately 9 players per team. Teams may fill up before the deadline, so please register ASAP. If teams fill up, the player will be placed on a wait list.

The general calendar for the season is as follows:
Practices start mid to late October
Games begin early December
The season is 10 games
2-week winter break, matching the school’s holiday break
The season ends late February
End-of-season tournament after the last scheduled games, typically late Feb / early March
