The Read-A-Thon is SMPO’s biggest fundraiser each school year. Funds raised through this event support field trips, classroom activities and supplies, and so much more.
The what?
Each year, the Sands Montessori Parent Organization hosts our annual Read-a-Thon — where students read, read, READ while friends and family support them with either: a flat donation or a pledge per minute read. Read-a-Thon contributes the largest portion of funds for our operating budget year over year.
