2026 Read-a-Thon
Each year, the Sands Montessori Parent Organization hosts our annual Read-a-Thon — where students read, read, READ while friends and family support them with either: a flat donation or a pledge per minute read. Read-a-Thon contributes the largest portion of funds for our operating budget year over year.

Help Needed for Special Friends Day
Special Friend's Day (formerly called Grandparent's Day, Donuts with Grownups, etc) is a morning at Sands where your child can invite a special adult in their lives to come into the building and share time with them. It's a big day for the SMPO to plan, in collaboration with teachers and staff. We would love help running this event! Please send Erin a message if you can volunteer for any amount of time the day of or if you can help her with planning!
