Join the Sands community for the final Birds of a Feather Happy Hour of this school year! Drop in to Element Eatery anytime between 6p and 9p on Friday, May 1st!

Visit Jeni’s Ice Cream at Factory 52 in Norwood on Thursday, April 30th from 3-6pm and a portion of sales will go to SMPO!

Students have been working hard on their production of Finding Nemo Kids! All students will see one cast performance during the school day next week. Purchase tickets here for an evening show! All shows are held in the Sands cafeteria.

Turtle Cast (Tuesday rehearsals) performs: Wednesday, April 22 at 7pm

The annual Spring Carnival truly takes a village! This is an easy and fun way to get your Montessori volunteer hours in! Sign up for a slot so we can continue this tradition for the community. Have a teen who needs volunteer hours? They can sign up as well!

The annual Sands Spring carnival is set for Saturday, April 18th! Details coming after Spring Break but sponsorships are open now. If you know a business who would like to purchase a sponsorship tier, please share the form here, including details about what each sponsorship level entails. 

Each year, the Sands Montessori Parent Organization hosts our annual Read-a-Thon — where students read, read, READ while friends and family support them with either: a flat donation or a pledge per minute read. Read-a-Thon contributes the largest portion of funds for our operating budget year over year. 

The Sands Montessori Parent Organization is now accepting nominations for all positions on the SMPO Rudder except Business Manager. SMPO is one of many ways you can connect with others in the community AND become involved in the future of your child’s school!

Sands is open for enrollment! We have space in every grade! Direct them to call the office for more information. With your help we can stop the elimination of one 9-12 classroom/teacher/para and spread the beauty of Montessori education to more of Cincinnati’s children. 

The Spring Carnival is looking for volunteers to help plan and execute the annual Sands Spring Carnival. Be part of the planning committee and meet other Sands community members. Join the committee for a kickoff meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at MadTree Brewery in Oakley. Can’t make it to the meeting but want to help? Email Ally to get connected.

We are so excited and grateful to be partnering with a local business - The Potted Palm! The Potted Palm offers plants and vintage gifts, some even crafted by Sands parents and alumni! It's located right around the corner from Sands in the business district. Visit the first Thursday of the month and 15% of sales will be donated to SMPO.

Mention Sands Montessori when you visit DeadLow Brewing on Wednesday, February 11th and 10% of sales will be donated to SMPO!
