Basketball Registration Opens Saturday, September 20th 9am
Sands Basketball Registration
Basketball is open to Sands students (boys and girls) grades 2 through 6. Our teams participate in the Cincinnati Premier Youth Basketball League (www.cpybl.com), which consists of schools from all over Greater Cincinnati.
Registration will be online beginning September 20, 2025 at 9:00 am and end on October 5, 2025 at 6:00 pm on the Sands Eagles Athletic website, http://sports.bluesombrero.com/SandsEaglesAthletics
On the website, select the “login” button at the top right of the page if you already have an account. If you do not have an account, select the “register” button at the top right of the page.
Once you are in your account, you will have the ability to sign up for basketball. If multiple grades are listed as an option, please register for the correct grade.
Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to availability. There will be approximately 9 players per team. Teams may fill up before the deadline, so please register ASAP. If teams fill up, the player will be placed on a wait list.

The general calendar for the season is as follows:
Practices start mid to late October
Games begin early December
The season is 10 games
2-week winter break, matching the school’s holiday break
The season ends late February
End-of-season tournament after the last scheduled games, typically late Feb / early March
